- Tsali Recreational Area (page on the site of Graham County NC, which offers lots of information on mountain biking at Tsali. Tsali is considered one of the top 10 places in the U.S. for lots of smooth, scenic, single track riding.)
- Virginia Creeper Trail (35 mile trail which stretches from Abingdon, VA to the N.C. state line near Whitetop Mtn. Built on a former railbed, this trail is open to hikers, bikers, and horses.)
